My Baking Obsession

Mua, Hazel and Wayne had a baking session yesterday. The recipe supposedly said the baking would last for fifteen minutes, twenty max but it took us almost two hours for it to be done.We baked custard puffs that didnt turn out to be like puffs because they were too big so the middle part was still moist like tokiwados.i can say it turned out ok.not much complains for a first time puff baker.the most amazing thing was that Wayne told us the ingredients and their measurements. He didnt have to write it down.Gosh.*i'm obviously hinting something here!* =P

The cake was actually done by me.BOTH of it.lols.i love to take credit.it's not that i dont deserve it but i think i totally do!anywayz, that's how i got almost left behind by my bus.like i'm going to say again, how kind of me.

After baking it,we were so stuffed after eating only three of it cause it was a huge custard puff.super filling.oh yea, being creative people,we dug up the soft inside of the puff and filled it with custard,milo,horlick.haha.yes,im not shitting you.Honestly,it tasted even better. We were quite proud with what we did.

And yes, after my lucky lucky friend returns from kL,i wanna have a BAKE FEST!hmm.i dont know if u can bake much staple food but i know there's pizza and baked cheese rice.and the fun part of it is that no matter how terrible it taste,as long as the cook puts their whole heart into it and make it on their own,it would definitely be fun.can u picture everyone bringing their own food.like everyone's the chef of the day then we get to laugh at everything they make.it would be adorable,in my way.gosh, sometimes i think i dream to much. =(

But im not giving up on baking though.i still want to perfect my strawberry yogurt cake and make tiramisu cake.and go bake-crazy with all my darlings.wish me luck!

The custard puffs were juz a bit too big >.< would be perfect if they were smaller....Lets try baking cream puffs next time..smaller ones...
